The Raglan

I come from work and am greeted at the door by my loving children and beautiful buxom wife, but my feet rush me past the hugs and embrace, propelling me immediately up the stairs to the closet. They anxiously rock me back and forth… to and fro… for they know what pleasure awaits. From big toe to pinky, my digits rise and fall in a wavelike motion in anticipation of what is to come. I slip off my socks and reach for my Raglans… the toe wave hits again! My arches round then flatten in a final stretch as the soft sole brushes the callousness of the side of my big toe. Feet fully inserted… I walk… the cushion is like no other. My feet feel as if they are walking on the pillows stuffed with the fur of newborn soft animal creatures. . It is nothing but pure ecstasy! Then I walk downstairs and have a cola, smoke my tobacco pipe, while whittling a bar of soap with junior by the summer fire.
